Substantial seizure of drugs overnight following anonymous report

There has been a Substantial seizure of drugs overnight by Limavady police, following an anonymous report by a member of the public.

The drug seizure has also resulted in an arrest. A police spokesperson this morning has said:

“With the help of an anonymous good Samaritan, a routine call has led to a substantial seizure of drugs.

“One male has been arrested for a number of drug offences.

“This goes to show folks, your information is listened to and acted upon. Please continue to report any further suspicious activity and your local Police will act.”
