Two pubs in the North Coast area have been served with Prohibition Notices as part of a crackdown into COVID-19 regulations.
The PSNI said: “Two licensed premises – one in Coleraine and one in Portrush – were served with prohibition notices for breaches of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020 yesterday (Friday 28th August).”
The serving of a prohibition notice however does not necessarily mean that a premises has to close.
