Councillor Ciarán McQuillan calls for urgent action to upgrade the Playpark in Dunloy Village.
Speaking about the current playpark facilities, Cllr McQuillan said: “The facility has been a beloved community asset for years, but with the equipment starting to deteriorate and become outdated, it is now more important than ever to invest in the safety and enjoyment of the children who use it.
“The current state of the play equipment not only poses a risk to children’s safety, but it also hinders their physical development and limits their opportunities for outdoor recreation and socialization. An upgraded play park will not only benefit the children and families in the village but also attract visitors to the area and contribute to the local economy.
“The council needs to prioritize this upgrade to ensure that the children of Dunloy Village have a safe and enjoyable place to play and grow.”
