The Chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced a package to help those who are self employed amid the COVID-19 crisis.
This will cover 95% of those who are self employed with the scheme up and running ‘no later’ than the beginn8ng of June.
Self employed must have had a tax return for 2019 and it will be open to those with a trading profit of £50,000.
The government will pay 80% of their monthly profits up to £2,500 a month.
