Arson attack in Ballycastle

Detectives are investigating a suspected arson attack at a flat in the Broombeg area of Ballycastle in the early hours of Saturday 29th October.
Detective Sergeant Wallace said, “ The report of a fire was received at around 1.50am on Saturday morning. Damage was caused to the front door and stairwell of the flat by the fire which we believe at this time to have been started deliberately. Two adults who were in the property at the time escaped unharmed through an upstairs window.
I would appeal for anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives in Coleraine on 101 quoting reference number 117 29/10/16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
