Assault in Ballymoney

Police are appealing for information following an assault on a 42 year-old man in Ballymoney last night, Tuesday 24th May.
The assault occurred in an alleyway in McAfee Place shortly after 10:10pm when the man was attacked by a number of people. He was taken to hospital suffering from head, leg and back injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Detective Sergeant Kyle Lucas, of Reactive and Organised Crime at Coleraine, said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the assault or anyone who has information that may assist in the investigation, to contact police on 101
“Alternatively, information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
