Coleraine Arson Attack

Detectives investigating an arson attack at a flat at Weaver’s Court in Coleraine on Saturday 18th February have arrested three men.

Detective Sergeant Wallace said: “ Shortly after 6am on Saturday morning a neighbour, having been disturbed by voices and a car driving away from Weaver’s Court, discovered a fire at the letterbox of a neighbouring flat and extinguished the flames. Damage was caused to the door, however, there were no reports of any injuries. Police enquiries led to the arrests of two 22 year olds and a 24 year old man. One of the 22 year old men has been released on police bail pending further enquiries whilst the other two men remain in custody assisting police with enquiries.”
