A 30ft whale has washed up on the shore at Portstewart strand.
The body of the Minke whale was spotted on Monday morning washed up at the shore.
At this stage it is not known what happened to the whale.
Seagulls were flocking over the whale which has a distinctive pointed head and curve.
They are the smallest of the baleen whales found in UK waters measuring 7 to 10 metres when fully grown.
