32 year old charged with ‘carrying a firearm’ to appear at at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on Monday

Detectives have charged a 32 year old man with a number of offences including carrying a firearm in a public place (imitation firearm).

He is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 July.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in connection with an incident on Broughshane Road,
Ballymena in the early hours of this morning, Saturday, 25 July.
