The Department of Finance have revealed that LPS issued a number of business rates bills in error despite a rates holiday in place due to COVID-19.
The Department of Finance said:“Approx 2,500 rate bills sent to businesses in error.
“Land & Property Services apologises & is contacting those affected advising them to ignore this bill.
“A revised bill taking account of the rates holiday reduction & other reliefs to be applied will issue in due course.”
