The Police Ombudsman is to begin a criminal investigation pertaining to 5 police officers over alleged misconduct during the Greenvale Hotel tragedy.
Four of the officers were tasked to the hotel on the night of the tragedy in response to a report of a ‘crush’ incident.
As a result of the incident on March 17th this year, four young teenagers died, Morgan Barnard and Lauren Bullock were 17, and 16 year old Connor Currie.
The officers in question remain on duty and assistance Chief Constable Stephen Martin released the following.
