Police are currently at the scene of a shooting incident at a house in the Whitethorn Drive area of Derry/Londonderry.
A police spokesperson has said: “Shortly before 11pm, it was reported that two men forced their way inside a house and shot a male occupant a number of times in his legs. The man is currently receiving medical treatment for his wounds.
“An investigation is underway and anyone with any information which could assist with police enquiries is asked to contact officers at Strand Road on 101 quoting reference number 2083 15/04/21.”
