Re-opening dates of hospitality and tourism sector brought forward

It was announced by the Economy Minister today that following the earlier Executive meeting that self-catering accommodation, the likes of caravan parks, areable to re-open on June 26th. This date was brought forward from that originally proposed.

The First Minister during the daily briefing also announced that hotels, bars, cafes and restaurants would be allowed to re-open from July 3rd, provided that ‘R’value remains below 1 and that businesses have the appropriate safety measures in place, they may open their doors to customers.

Further announcements are expected following Thursdays 3 week review of the lockdown.
