The captain of a tanker currently at anchor in Lough Foyle has received tragic news from his home country of Ukraine.
Whilst onboard of ‘Venture Luck’, the captain was informed that a Russian airstrike had killed his mother, wife and daughter.

It’s believed that the tanker company has provided the necessary arrangements to allow the captain to return back to Ukraine.
