Two taken to hospital as M2 reopens following earlier multiple vehicle RTC

The M2 motorway in Belfast has now re-opened following a three vehicle road traffic collision earlier this afternoon.

A red Volkswagen Beetle car and two motorcycles were in collision at around 2.15pm approaching Belfast between Fortwilliam and the Docks.

The two male motorcyclists have been taken to hospital for treatment following the collision which caused severe disruption to traffic for a number of hours.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured the collision on dash-cam to contact them at Sprucefield on 101 quoting reference number 995 04/09/20.
