A new BBC Two NI series called ‘The Band’, starts this Sunday at 10pm.
Last Summer DoubleBand films funded by Northern Ireland screen, filmed a three part series which will highlight the world of marching bands and the rich music culture they promote.
The nine featured band will include Major Sinclair Memorial Pipe Band, Brunswick Accordion Band, Pride Of Ballinran, Drum Accordian Band. Brookeborough Flute Band, Ravara Pipe Band, Kellswater Flute Band, Cavanaleck Pipe Band and Dunloy Accordion Band
