27 year old charged with criminal damage after poppy wreaths are burned

Following a report of poppy wreaths being set alight over the weekend in Ballymena, police have arrested and charged a Male.

They 27-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage. He is expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 23 March.

The charge relates to an incident at a War Memorial in Ballymena on Friday night.
