Further easing of lockdown restrictions announced.

The NI Executive have announced further easing of the current lockdown restrictions.

It has been agreed to reduce social distancing from 2m to 1m but with restrictions in place. This will take effect from June 29th

Betting shops will be able to re-open from July 3rd and Tattoo parlours and reflexology from July 6th.

The use of Indoor Gums and outdoor playground facilities will be allowed from July 10th.

Competitive sport can resume from July 17th but leisure centres and indoor play area will have to wait until the August 7th.

These dates are provisional and on condition that the ‘R’ rate remains below 1.
