Health Minister & Secretary of State praise ambulance staff

The Health Minister Robin Swann and Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Brandon Lewis have spoken to staff on a recent visit to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS).

During the visit, Mr Swann praised the Ambulance Service for their response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The Health Minister also took the opportunity to condemned the recent news that there had been a rise in the number of attacks against Ambulance staff, saying:

“It is beyond belief that they should be on the receiving end of this kind of thuggery.”
