JUST IN: Male shot dead in North Belfast

A man has died following a shooting incident outside a house in the Ardoyne area of North Belfast this morning.

Police attended the incident in the Etna Drive area of the city with police saying earlier that they were “responding to reports of a shooting in Etna Drive, in North Belfast”.

Police have now confirmed that a male was shot dead and that further information will be available once they know more

A car was also found burned out on Jamaica Road, but it is unclear yet if this was connected to the shooting.
