Dunlop ‘open to proposals’ for Superbike class

Michael Dunlop has said he is ‘open to proposals’ when it comes to who he’ll be riding for in the Superbike class for this season.

In a statement released on social media, the Ballymoney road racer wrote:

“Despite all the rumours flying around about who I will be riding for this year I can confirm that I currently have no agreement in place to ride a Superbike for this season and i’m open to proposals.”

Dunlop had previously raced the Superbike class with the Northern Ireland Tyco BMW team, TAS racing.

Going on to speak about the other bike classes, Michael said:

“I will be doing my own thing for the supersport and superstock classes under the md racing banner as usual as that has proved to be a good way of doing things but we would always welcome new sponsors who are looking to partner with a successful team.”
