Armoy based company to Sponsor Open Superbike Race

Euro Autospares, which purchases used vehicles, and exports used vehicle parts globally, has confirmed its second year of sponsorship at this year’s Armoy Road Races.

This year’s races will take place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July and Euro Autospares will once again be sponsoring the Open Superbike race.

The race, won by road racing legend, Michael Dunlop at last year’s event, is one of the most competitive and exciting races in the competition.

Based in Armoy, Euro Autospares offers competitive prices for all running and non-running vehicles. The company prides itself on its ability to offer pricing based on export prices, rather than scrap metal prices, and in addition, offers a free vehicle collection service as well as same day payment.

Speaking about the company’s sponsorship of the Open Superbike race, Martin Laverty, Managing Director at Euro Autospares said: “We really enjoyed being part of Armoy Road Races last year and we are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of the Open Superbike race for 2022.

“As a locally-based company, it is a great opportunity for us to lend our support to such a prestigious event that’s right on our doorstep. We’re looking forward to watching some of the top riders in motorcycle sport compete.”

Bill Kennedy MBE, Clerk of the Course commented: “It is brilliant that Euro Autospares enjoyed its involvement and sponsorship of last year’s races so much that they are back for a second year.

“Sponsorship is key to us being able to put on the Armoy Road Races as without the sponsors’ support, we just could not facilitate such an event. We truly appreciate the support of Euro Autospares and all our sponsors.

“We’re sure that this year, the Open Superbike race will not disappoint and will provide all the thrills that it usually does.”

This event was enabled by funding from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
