World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea goes from two wheels to four

10/04/20...McAuley Multimedia REPRO FREE Five time World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea takes delivery of his Kawasaki Mule PRO-MX from Hunter Kane & Son Kawasaki Dealers. Almost all races and sporting events have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future due to Coronavirus. Taking a break from two wheels Jonathan said, "the mule is really popular in the US, when we're at Laguna Seca we take the mule up to the corkscrew to get a good view of the track, it's always a battle to see who can get the keys first they're great fun". Jonathan who is housebound for the meantime said, "I'm excited to have one at home, we have some land here and it will be brilliant for doing jobs around the house, the kids are excited to get their bikes in the back and head off when this is over". The family dog was already introduced to the new machine jumping in the back the moment it arrived. Doing the handover (at a distance) Joshua Kane from Ballycastle based Hunter Kane & Son Kawasaki dealers for Counties Antrim and Derry/Londonderry said "it's a pleasure to hand over this new Mule to Jonathan, we have been working with Kawasaki for around a year now after the retirement of the local dealer, during that time we have had amazing feedback from customers commenting on the capability of the mule, it's a real privilege to be handing over this machine to the World Champion, everyone at Hunter Kane & Son wishes Jonathan all the best with it and good luck for the next season, whenever that might be!"
