It’s turns out even superheroes aren’t immune from COVOD-19! or at least the persons playing them, as time was again called temporarily on the filming of the new Batman movie.

Warner Bro have said the halt in filming is due to a positive COVID-19 case in ‘a member of The Batman production’ and that they are ‘isolating in accordance with established protocols’.

It’s believed that the individual in question is movie lead Robert Patterson, who earlier this year in March was seen filming scenes for the movie near Glasgow before the pandemic restrictions began.

Since the restart to filming had commenced earlier this week however, the production had recommenced in the Hertfordshire area, if but short lived.

Not yet confirmed by the studio, several media outlets in America have named the actor as the member of ‘The Batman Production’, including the Hollywood Reporter.

Only days previous it was announced that filming on the next instalment of the Batman franchise would resume, after the release was previously delayed to at least October 2021 due to the initial halt in filming as a result of the pandemic back in March.

Fellow Hollywood actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson release a video earlier this week to fans announcing that he, along with his wife and child, had tested positive for the virus.
