On the Beach holiday provider has this evening issued a statement denying claims made on social media that they are to enter administration.
The online claims initially caused worry and panic with customers uncertain over holiday packages that had already been booked.
However when approached, the company denied these claim were true, issuing the following:
“On the Beach are aware of a fake Facebook account which has been set up by someone claiming to be an employee of the company. This person does not – and has never – worked for On the Beach and the claims in their post are entirely untrue.
“On the Beach continues to show resilience throughout the Covid pandemic, and will continue to provide great-value beach holidays for many years to come.”
