Disappointment as 2021 Belfast International Tattoo now rescheduled to next year

In a statement released today, the organisers of the Belfast International Tattoo have announced that this years event, due to take place next month, has been rescheduled until 2022.

The press release reads: “The Board of Directors for the Belfast International Tattoo 2021 regret to announce that the Belfast International Tattoo 2021 will, unfortunately, have to be rescheduled to the 2nd and 3rd of
September 2022.

“The Directors have worked tirelessly to ensure the Belfast International Tattoo complies with all current Health and Safety regulations in force at this time. The safety and wellbeing of our audience, performers, staff and crew has been paramount in our considerations at all times.

“Despite our careful detailed preparations, discussions with our Health and Safety advisor and the Arena management, the Board of Directors have been advised by the management of the SSE
Arena, Belfast they are now unable to host the Belfast International Tattoo 2021.

“We understand this is disappointing for both Audience and Performers but unfortunately the decision is beyond the control of the Board of Directors of the Belfast International Tattoo.

“All Tickets sold for the Belfast International Tattoo 2020/2021 will remain valid for the shows in 2022 on the 2nd and 3rd September 2022.

“Tickets will soon be on sale for the Belfast International Tattoo 2022 through the usual outlets with further details being released in relation to the Bands and Artistes appearing at the 2022 Event.

“We look forward to your continued support for the Belfast International Tattoo and its Directors and hope to welcome you to the shows in September 2022.
