The multisite event began at the Joey Dunlop Leasure Centre (JDLC)  where the owners of vintage cars gathered to showcase their pride and joys with a Vintage Car Show. Along site the carswere tractors new and old and lorrys and trucks.

While this was all going on at the JDLC there was also other events throughout the town. These included the Naturally North Coast & Glens Artisan Market held at Castlecroft Square from 11am in the morning. even before the official start time the folk of the town were filtering through the market as the stall holders were setting up.

As well as the host of products on offer at the market. The shoppers were treated to live music and entertainment. First was traditional music group Scad the Beggar. This was followed by the wonderful weans of Kelly Neill Dance Company and to close Neil & Pete from Smokey Bear Band played some great acoustic numbers to the shoppers.

FUSE FM were providing live links back to the studio from the different locations over the air and online.

At High Street, music was provide by CJ Entertainments Johnathan McLaughtlin. Street entertainment took the form of Characters and balloon modelling. On the street prizes were given away and weans were invited to take part in a special EGGciting Treasure hunt thoughout the town with prizes given out for the winners. The town was not only filled with weans hunting down the answers to the cluesbut accompanied   by friends and their famlies.

The main Easter Fun Day took place at Megaw park with huge numbers in attendance. The visitors were treated to more live music in the form of CJ Entertainments Codie Murray, country singer Alastair Coyles, Dancers again from Kelly Neills Dance Company and the Groove Robbers.

There was also plenty of other activites for the crowd from a Punch & Judy show, stunt displays, inflatables, world of owls, face painting and balloon modelling just to name a few.

The day finished with the Cavalade of Cars leaving the JDCL joining the Carnival Parade which passed throught the town to a packed Main Street, to end what was a brillant day not only for the folk of Ballymoney and visitors to the town, but a brillant day for Ballymoney itself.

Special mention has to be made to CC&GBC events team, Ballymoney Chamber of Commerce, Naturally North Coast and Glens as well as all the services and volunteers who helped make the event a success.
