Ulster Unionist Councillor, Darryl Wilson, has called for help from the public for two upcoming community litter picks.
The first will occur at Riverside Park (April 8), with the second in the village of Balnamore. (April 15).
Posting on social media, Cllr Wilson wrote: “I don’t mind sticking on the headphones and doing this myself, however, many hands make light work.
“If you’re interested in coming along for an hour, I’d love to see you there, open to members of the public, community groups / sports clubs etc.
“Litter pickers, hi-vis vests, bags, and lots of fresh air / steps will be provided.”
