The new Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced £300m extra funding for ‘growth deals’ in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
One of the areas within Northern Ireland that will benefit from a portion of this funding, will be the Causeway Coast & Glens.
The announcement was made on Monday by the PM on a trip to Scotland and with regards to Northern Ireland, the government have said that the funding would,
“Support growth deals in ‘midsouth west Northern Ireland and Causeway Coast and Glens’ and also to complete a deal for Londonderry and the north-west.”
Johnson is also expected to visit Northern Ireland in the next few days.
