Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor, Adrian McQuillian, is currently the subject of a DUP internal investigation.
Currently, it’s unclear as to the circumstances surrounding the investigation; however, after contacting Mr McQuillian earlier today, the Councillor confirmed he was indeed facing possible disciplinary action.
“Yes they are doing an investigation” said Adrian, “but I can’t comment on it. When it’s over, I will have plenty to say.”
Concluding, the Councillor confirmed his current party status, saying: “I’m still a member of the party, and as far as I know, I’m not suspended yet.”
The local DUP group were also approached for comment but told us: “on this occasion (the party group) have nothing to say on the matter.”
