Multiple charges including assault, burglary & theft for two males in their 20’s

Two men aged 27 and 20 years old have been charged with multiple offensives following a recent burglaries on the Atlantic Road area of Portrush on Tuesday 21st July.

The men were charged with a total of seven counts of burglary, theft, assault on police, seven counts of attempted burglary, two counts criminal damage, going equipped for burglary and possession of a Class C controlled drug.

Both men appeared via videolink at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Wednesday 22nd July.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges relate to a number of and attempted burglaries which are believed to have taken place in the Atlantic Road area of Portrush on Tuesday 21st July.
