Police have reminded the rural community to secure their property, after 3 incidents were reported in the previous 24 hours. The targeted properties were in and around Aghadowey and the Vow Road area of Ballymoney.
Issuing advice to those living in rural areas, Police said: “As traffic gradually starts to increase on our roads again sadly the travelling criminals are starting to appear again especially during the hours of darkness.
“Please secure your property as best as you can especially sheds, garages and farm buildings. Also be mindful of your trailers and quad bikes. Finally please report all suspicious activity including vehicles by calling 101.”
