The Armoy club has been urged to reconsider the running of the Moto3/125 class by a group of riders who have expressed their support for the class going forward.

As the costs of running the event continue to rise, the club has had to operate more like a business, while still adhering to its original aims of providing a fitting tribute to the Armoy Armada.

Whilst also giving riders ample track time, prize money, attracting top riders to race and entertain spectators.

After taking the riders’ request into consideration, the Directors have decided to reinstate the Moto3/125 class, with the assurance from 13 riders that they will all enter and race at this year’s event.

The supplementary regulations and entry form will be revised accordingly, with the SS300 and Moto 450 joining the Moto3/125 class to complete the grid.

The club is now seeking a race sponsor for the class and interested parties can contact chairman@amrrc.com for more details.

The Armoy races will be held on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th July.
