Raise a glass of ‘champers’ to the RBL at 100

The Royal British Legion (RBL) are raising a glass to celebrate 100 years since their formation in May 1921, with three bespoke ‘cuvées of champagne’.

Formed to provide help and support for serving and ex-serving personal – including fighting for rights and better welfare – the RBL has been working with Eminent Wines to develop these limited edition champagne varieties.

Available, the three exclusive cuvées of champagne are Reveille (Brut), Champs de Fleurs (Rosé), and Centurion (Blanc de Blanc), which will set you back on average £55 a bottle.

These are available via the Eminent Wines website with a portion of each sale going towards the RBL, continuing to help members and their families.

A spokesperson for Eminent Wines has said: “100 years on, the RBL continues to respond to the changing needs of the Armed Forces community, providing small interventions to life-changing and sometimes life-saving support.”
