Smyth’s EUROSPAR in Ballymoney is celebrating serving the local community for 45 years this month.

David Smyth, along with his son Sam and daughter Debbie, run the successful family business, which is situated beside the Glebeside Estate in the town.

Over the 45-year history of the store, it has supported many locals and organisations in that time and become the heart of the local community.

The store has won several awards, including “Grocer of the Year”, and has undergone significant changes over the past 45 years.

Originally spanning just 700 square feet, the store now covers 7,000 square feet, with a total ground size of 20,000 square feet following a major investment back in 2014.

The family has introduced several additions to the store, such as a post office, a butchery, and a car park that was once an army camp base.
