One fatality as a result of RTC earlier today near Coleraineg

There’s has been another fatality on NI roads following a crash near Coleraine earlier today.
The RTC occurred on the Drumcroone Road and it remains closed from the Moneybrannon Road to the Kinnyglass Road.
The crash site, involving two vehicles, was attended by emergency services including the Air Ambulance.
Unfortunately one of those involved has lost their life as a result of the crash. Family have been informed.
A spokesperson for the PSNI has said;

Police can confirm that a man has died following a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Drumcroon Road in Coleraine this afternoon, Wednesday 20 February.
The man was the driver of a transit van that was involved in a collision with a lorry shortly before 1.25pm.  The driver of the lorry was not seriously injured as a result of the collision.
Inspector Colin Shaw is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Drumcroon Road and who has dash-cam footage of the collision to contact local officers in Coleraine or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 595 20/02/19.
