Police Investigate Arson Attack on Car in Bushmills

A picup truck was set alight in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Bushmills. NIFRS from portrush attended the scene and made the vehicle safe after the fire was extinguished. the cause was deliberate ignition.

Police received a report of a car on fire within the Ritchie’s Wood area of Bushmills shortly after 12.15am on Tuesday, 22ndAugust.

Officers attended the scene along with colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who extinguished the fire.

The car sustained substantial damage during the incident, which is being treated as arson.
