Another Riverside Retail Park restaurant has temporarily closed following a staff member testing positive for COVID-19.
This follows on from the popular fast food restaurant McDonalds who earlier this week were themselves forced to close for a deep clean, after one of their staff had a positive test result.
YOKO at the Jet Centre took to their Facebook page to inform their customers that: “As a precautionary measure we have decided to exercise a temporary closure of our restaurant. One of our staff members has tested positive for covid 19.“
“As a business, Yoko have followed all safety guidelines issued by the government. This includes; temperature checking on arrival, appropriate use of PPE, regular sanitation and handwashing.
To ensure the safety of our staff and customers, we will be conducting a stringent deep clean of our premises over the next few days and all our staff will be tested. We hope to be open and running again soon and that all our customers stay safe.”
