Recycling centres to accept garden waste and cardboard

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have tonight voted to adjust the restrictions at Recycling Centres and will now be accepting garden waste and cardboard.

It was also confirmed that trailers and vans will be allowed access which is a welcomed move.

“This was an issue that the DUP councillors have been lobbying council officers on for a number of weeks now and although it is still not as open as we were hoping for with large items in particular being an major issue for many people, it is moving in the right direction and we will be requesting another review next week again.”
