A woman who was recovered from the sea yesterday following a report she hadn’t returned from a swim, has dies.
The female was described as being in the water for some time at Browns Bay in Islandmagee after failing to return, and was picked up by the RNLI Larne lifeboat.
Multiple emergency services team were involved locally but it was Prestwick Coastguard Rescue 119 helicopter who transported the woman to Antrim Area Hospital.
At this time Police are not treat the death as suspicious, but a full investigation will be carried out.
