Good news for local road racing fans, as the Armoy Road Race of Legends, is expected to return this July, as the club announce dates.
In 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis, the majority of the road race meetings in Northern Irelsnd were cancelled, including the Internationsl NW200 and the Armoy Race of Legends events.
This year several events have already been cancelled, and those not cancelled face uncertainty in the face of the current restriction.
But an earlier post on social media on Saturday afternoon confirmed the dates for this year’s Armoy event.
A post on social media read: “The Armoy Road Races return this July.
“The ‘Race of Legends’ will be the first road race in Northern Ireland in 2021. More information on spectator tickets and competitor race entries coming soon.”
