Last week, the proud parents of Emma were invited to the Mayor’s office in Coleraine to honor their daughter’s exceptional sporting accomplishments.
Emma, a talented and dedicated individual, was treated to a memorable evening alongside the Mayor of the Causeway Coast and Glens, where she was commended for her outstanding achievements.
Emma’s list of accolades is truly impressive. She recently emerged as the champion in the Ulster Championships for Irish Dancing, representing her school, Loughgiel School of Irish Dance. Her remarkable skills and dedication to this traditional art form have brought her well-deserved recognition.
In addition to her achievements in Irish Dancing, Emma’s contributions extend to various sports and community activities. She serves as a coach at the Ballymoney Youth Academy, sharing her knowledge and passion for football with young athletes. Emma’s commitment to the Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club has not gone unnoticed, showcasing her enthusiasm for the thrilling sport.
Moreover, Emma was recognized as a finalist for the Local Women Magazine’s inspirational teenager of the year. This acknowledgment reflects her positive influence and exemplary character within the community. Furthermore, she has excelled as the First XI Hockey Captain and leading goal scorer at Ballycastle High School, where her exceptional skills and leadership qualities have made her a role model for her peers.
Emma’s dedication to sports and her role as an ambassador for youth in the area have made her parents immensely proud.
