Duneany Road Fly Tipping inexcusable- Peacock

Sinn Féin Councillor Leanne Peacock has described fly-tipping on the Duneany Road in Rasharkin as inexcusable.

Cllr Peacock said: “The fly tipping which has been going on at this location for some time is utterly inexcusable.

“This issue not only has an impact on our environment but creates an eyesore amongst our stunning countryside and can cause hazards for local people.

“Those responsible are showing a complete disregard for our local area, our environment and those within it. We are only 3 miles away from our closest recycling centre, there are simply no excuses.

“I have contacted Council to have this cleaned up urgently and to have the area monitored for any further anti-social dumping.”
